About

I am a wife, mother, real estate broker, and lover of all things babies.  I discovered I had a heart for birth, when my best friend invited me to be there for the birth of her second daughter.  I sought the opportunity to train as a doula soon after.

My philosophy on being present at a birth:
Think of me as an extra pair of hands for you and your partner.  I am there to help facilitate the birth you want to have.  I come along side each couple to be there for guidance and support as each birth unfolds the way it wants to.  I am very laid back in nature, and while it is not my style to be argumentative with a doctor or midwife, I aim to advocate for my client’s wishes without disrupting the birth environment.  I will also help to identify any trust issues that might arise in the labor room, during our prenatal consults.

My goal as a doula is to:
…help educate families on the birth process so they are prepared for the big day
…help facilitate the kind of birth experience you want to have
…help guide the breastfeeding process
